Awards

The Albert Worsham Memorial Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest overall average in the class.

The Magna Cum Laude Awards are presented to the students who rank among the upper ten percent of their class.

The Karlton A. Koball Award is presented to the student demonstrating an unwavering professional attitude and behavior through the year and is selected by the class.

The Joan D. Tomczak Memorial Scholarship Award is presented to the student demonstrating an unwavering professional attitude and behavior through the year and is selected by the faculty.

The Laura B. Worsham Memorial Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest average in Business/Funeral Home Management.

The Illinois Funeral Directors Association Scholarship is presented to two students who have achieved academic excellence in funeral service arts, demonstrating an unmistakable and evident ability to meet the public relations demands of funeral service.

The Illinois Funeral Directors Association Past Presidents Award is presented to the student demonstrating distinctive leadership qualities indicating a prominence in administrative and executive abilities in funeral service.

The American Institute of Embalmers Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest combined average in Embalming Theory and Embalming Laboratory.

The Isadore Feinberg Memorial Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest average in Pathology.

The Richard G. Riechle, Sr. Restorative Art Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest combined average in Restorative Art Theory and Restorative Art Laboratory.

The Funeral Directors Services Association Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest combined average in Funeral Directing and Business/Funeral Service Law.

The Bruno B. Bak Memorial Scholarship is presented to the student who demonstrates a professional attitude and aptitude in the opinion of the scholarship committee.

The Jack Adams Dodge Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest combined average in Restorative Art and Embalming Laboratories.

The Robert L. Sciaraffa Memorial Award is presented to the student who achieves the highest average in Accounting.

The Ernest A. Griffin Memorial Scholarship is presented to the student who personifies ethics and professionalism in the estimation of the Griffin Family.

The Northeastern Funeral Directors Association Award is presented to the student who demonstrates a positive attitude, maturity and seriousness of purpose with regard to academics.
